Methods: A clinical-instrumental study performed on 20 healthy female Caucasian subjects at least 18 years old showing a clinical picture characterized by skin stretch on breast, hips, abdomen or thighs.

Treatment efficacy was evaluated after 60 and 90 days of product use by means of non-invasive bioengineering technique that allow to quantify: skin moisturisation, skin elasticity and the cross section of the stretch mark.

Subjects were asked to apply the cream twice a day (morning and evening) on two areas: on normal skin surface (area A) and on stretch marks area (area B)

Clinical evaluation: 0, 60 and 90 day evaluation by dermatologist.

Self assessment: subjects completed questionnaires after day 90.

Results:

  • Significant improvement in skin compactness and tonicity
  • Significant increase in the elastic component of the skin
  • A decrease in the stretch mark evidence (via a clinical evaluation)
